With a local expert as your guide\, we invite you explore a series of rare\, remnant prairie and oak habitats along Dorena Lake. Bikes to Blooms is a free\, educational event that features activities for families and nature enthusiasts\, including a morning bird walk\, stewardship opportunities\, educational booths hosted by local organizations and guided wildflower walks. Travel east of Cottage Grove and experience this ecologically valuable and scenic landscape and to see the southern Willamette Valley in bloom. Bikes to Blooms will take place on Saturday\, May 13th from 8am to 3pm at Bake Stewart Park and Row Point Trailhead along Dorena Lake. The event is free and open to the public. Bikes to Blooms event schedule -- Bake Stewart Park: 8:00am Bird Walk\, 10:00am Wildflower Walk\, 11:00am Family-Friendly Wildflower Walk and 1:00pm Pollinator Walk.
